Hey Instructor Community, it’s been a while since I checked in.

  1. I just wanted to say hi and say happy early Valentine's Day to everyone - I know not everyone celebrates it or cares about it - but hey it's a good reason to check in and send some positive vibes to you all, so here I am doing just that.
  2. As you may also be aware, February is Black History Month (BHM) and at Udemy we believe in the power of celebrating choice and diversity, so as part of BHM, Udemy's Black Employee Network (BEN) is excited to be creating a short video entitled "Igniting Black Futures".

If you are a Black-identifying instructor and want to get involved, it's super simple — just click on the link and follow the prompts to share:

  • What does this theme mean to you?
  • Where do you see the biggest opportunity for Black-identifying individuals to make the largest impact?
  • How does this theme resonate with you as a Black-identifying Instructor and educator?

All submissions are due by Feb 19

We will create a montage of your videos and share them internally and externally on our social media channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram) helping showcase you and your voice.

There is no expectation of participation. Some instructors have already added their videos, and we wanted to offer this to everyone.

We look forward to hearing and sharing your perspectives

Take care

Genefa
