I like doing something creative and teaching others. I also enjoy receiving positive feedback and feeling appreciated and I do my best to respond well and politely to negative feedback/constructive criticism and do my best to improve. I also enjoy when there is somewhat of a personal connection. Although the courses are online and not in person it is nice when a student asks questions regularly and shows interest and engages. Of course I also like making some money but that really is the lowest priority (although if I made no money I might have quit already). My main goal is to make something I'm proud of and hopefully some people might want to buy my course. Initially when my first course was published and a few students purchased my course it kind of terrified me. Not sure why? It's just so abstract I guess. I also enjoy learning about topics I didn't really plan on learning such as how to edit a video or how to promote my courses. To be honest I also enjoy when there are positive events in the Udemy community. For instance the coffee chats were really cool and these studio u posts are pretty cool. It's nice to feel a sense of connection. That's about it.
