Thanks @RyanJaress . I've created a few bundles, but they haven't been added to the course landing page. Do you know the timeframe for how long it'll take for published bundles to appear on the course landing page once they are published?

Thanks! This is what we have been asking for many years, it makes great sense. Great to see it is live!

I understand we cannot make a deeper price promo and bundle price equals to the sum of the coupled courses right now, it would make much sense if we can offer something like 10% deeper price with this bundle.

Thanks. Does this mean I will now be able to package sections of my very long course and make shorter courses? I originally put everything about project management in one course, because I wanted it all to be available in one course, so that course is, effectively, a bundle. However, I have had requests from students to, for example, split out the Risk material into a targeted Risk course, just covering the risk material, because they wanted their colleagues to just have access to that Risk material in one focused course. Now allowing that would be a big help. Please let me know.

A few questions that aren't addressed in the FAQ:

-If a course is attached to more than one bundle, which one(s) are displayed on that course's CLP?

-Can a co-instructor create bundles with courses they are not primary on?

-How long does it take for bundles, or changes to bundles, to be published on CLP's?

Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem to be working. The bundle was created, but it’s still not showing up on the course landing page, even though a few hours have already passed.

I was also under the impression that we will be able to set a specific price for the bundles. Not just the sum of the prices of each Course. We cant even create discount coupons for them, I heard.

Also, these are not just Beginner to Advanced for me, just synergistic Courses on the same topic.

It looks like someone at Udemy is finally listening to instructor feedback. After a long time, I’m seeing an update that truly supports instructors.

Being able to set bundled pricing will definitely help!

However, just saw this in the help page :-

Udemy had previously included my course in a bundle, which one will learners see?

Instructor created bundles will take precedence over Udemy created bundles and Udemy created bundles including all or some of the same courses included in the instructor created courses will not be visible.

Learners will only be able to see a Udemy created bundle where no relevant instructor created bundle exists.

Why cannot both these bundle exist?

One is created by Instructor within their own courses and another is created by Udemy based on student preference. Why only one?

I notice that bundles can have a statuts of "Expired", which is not explained. Under what circumstances would a bundle expire? Are the bundles time-limited?

Edit: The bundle creation page allows us to make the bundle available for a fixed period of time.

I have just created a bundle, but it hasn't been displayed yet as the others have mentioned. The status of the bundle is showing as 'published' though!

Also, a couple of follow-up question which the help page doesn't address

If I include the same course in more than one bundle (which the system seem to allow), which bundle will be displayed on the landing page of the course? Would all of them be displayed?
Is there a limit on how many bundles a course can be included in?

Could we please be allowed to enter a longer description? 120 characters is barely enough for a single line of text. We should at least be able to fill the box provided.

By contrast, the course landing page forces us to enter at least 200 characters, just to describe a single course.

@RyanJaress Awesome! The long-awaited bundle feature is finally here! I honestly think both instructors and Udemy missed out on a lot of revenue by not having this sooner.
A small feature request: it would be really useful if we could set thumbnails for bundles.
Also, the 120-character limitation for the description field is too restrictive. How about 240? Deal? 😎

Great job! Although I have a few courses, they are all related, and students often buy them together. So, I immediately created a few bundles.

It would be great if we could also offer discounts for bundles, such as 15% or 20% off the total sum at that time, rather than the course prices, which are more under Udemy's control.

Please increase the number of characters allowed for the bundle description. 120 characters is not sufficient to provide any features and benefits. Maybe there can be another place to provide objectives, as with a course, to better sell the bundle to potential customers.

I'm seeing the bundles now, but would be nice to display the bundles above the "students also bought" section. It feels a bit too much like an afterthought if it's below that section. I'd expect an instructor bundle / upsell to be closer to the top of the landing page.

Yes, came here to post the exact same thing. It appears AFTER the “Students Also Bought” section, which promotes my competitors (and often my own courses as well). This would be better served ABOVE this section, so prospective students can see it before purchasing and take advantage of the bundle.

Additionally, the description of the bundle is not showing. @RyanJaress @MarinaT Can ya'll check on this? The screenshot above and the feature support page display the bundle description, but it does not appear in the bundle itself when viewed. Example:

@MarinaT , @RyanJaress we have an important question regarding the new bundles feature:

If a course is included in more than 1 bundle, which one will appear in the landing page? Why there is no any option to set a discounted price for the bundle?

Hi @Btkrausen,

I just got confirmation from the team that it can take up to 24 hours for a course bundle to appear on the course landing page. Good to know: when unpublishing a bundle, it will be removed within 48 hours. However, it will remain marked as "unpublished" in the instructor dashboard, so you can republish it later if you’d like.

Just checking in to see if the bundle has been published in the meantime? Please note that it can take up to 24 hours for a bundle to appear on the course landing page. If 24 hours have already passed and you still can’t find it,
I recommend having this checked by our internal team by clicking here and navigating to “Contact Us” on the right.

We display the bundles with the strongest social proof. Also, we encourage you to add only one bundle including a course if you want that bundle to be displayed on the page.

At this time, co-instructors cannot create bundles with courses they are not the "main instructor" of.

-How long does it take for bundles, or changes to bundles, to be published on CLPs?
It can take up to 24 hours for a published bundle to appear on the course landing page. Also, when a bundle is unpublished, it may take up to 48 hours to be removed from the course landing page. It will remain marked as unpublished in the instructor dashboard, so you can republish it later if you wish to do so.
