Hello fellow instructors,
I’m reaching out to see if anyone has successfully navigated a ban related to "course posting velocity." My account was recently closed without prior notice. The reason cited was that the speed of my uploads suggests "minimal human involvement" and raises quality concerns.
I am feeling quite stuck because:
- Student Satisfaction: My average rating is 4.4, which I believe demonstrates that my courses provide real value and meet student needs.
- Effort & Process: I put significant time into my curriculum and production. My high velocity is a result of full-time dedication not a lack of human effort.
- No Prior Warnings: I received no strikes or warnings before the permanent ban, making it impossible for me to adjust my posting frequency to meet Udemy's internal (but unstated) velocity limit
Thanks,
Sudarshana
