Direct Message Coupon Codes to Students?

If you click on your course, you could see a list of students that are enrolled, and you have an option to message them.

Am I able to send those students Coupon Codes via those direct messages, or is this not allowed?

    That's right, you can message them directly, however, as per our guidelines listed here, you are not allowed to send coupon codes through direct messaging.

    I want to to be able to offer students a discount on the proceeding Course in a series I am making that does not expire. Doesn't look like this is possible, but I believe it should be. If there is any wisdom in not including this coupon option, please let me know.
