New Year, New Goals Coffee Chat

On January 13th, we invited you all to discuss goals as instructors! There were a lot of questions and discussions that can be helpful for those struggling to set reasonable goals for 2023 as instructors.

There was one question that was personal to each instructor so we won’t share the answers with the first question, but we did receive a lot of great feedback from the second question so we will share the responses here!

Here are the questions and responses had during the coffee chat:

What are your goals as an instructor for 2023?

Are there any ways to approach your goals without getting overwhelmed?

  • Have one large and long-term goal for the year, but break it down into manageable sizes so you can incrementally work towards that greater goal.
  • When working towards your goals, try your best to avoid distractions so you can focus on your objective. Areas to avoid when working include TV, your phone, etc.

Have some answers to these questions? Share your thoughts in the comments below 👇.

Our next virtual coffee chat will be hosted this Friday, February 17th at 10:00am PT. You can sign up for the event here!

AMA Featuring Senior Director, Product Management Jacob Coulter

Last month we had the pleasure to have an AMA session with Udemy’s Senior Director, Product Management Jacob Coulter. In this webinar, we took some pre-selected questions posted within the community and a live ama session to discuss various aspects of the Udemy product!

Weren’t able to join the event live? Don’t worry! We have a transcript of the entire AMA here.

We have a webinar every month featuring guests that are masters in the field we are covering. February’s webinar will cover SEO featuring some community champions! Stay tuned in the community for further updates!

Lastly, thank YOU for being a part of the community and sharing your experiences in goal setting and providing us feedback on how Udemy can help you achieve your goals!

Is there anything that you would like to see for next month’s wrap-up? Share your suggestions in the comments below! 👇
