Optimize your course landing page with this keyword exercise

Once you've finished filming, editing, and uploading your course, it's time to think about how to make sure the right students find it. Part of that is creating an enticing course landing page (CLP) with great keywords.

Optimizing your CLP for search is key to your long-term success and it’s not as hard as it sounds. Optimizing your CLP will allow you to:

  • Help the right students discover your course
  • Improve your ranking on Google search and Udemy
  • Increase the number of people that click on and buy your course

The Teaching Center has an exercise that can help you optimize your CLP with four ways to help you determine the best keywords for your course. Check it out here!

Re: Optimize your course landing page with this keyword exercise

Thanks, @JocelynH really cool! Haven't seen it before.

One question: Can you reveal the KW strategy Udemy uses, or to be specific, is it more like Google where 1% kw density is just about right, or rather like Amazon, where 'more is better' is kind of right?

Or maybe one of the SEO experts can answer this to me?

Thanks,

Axel
