When it comes to "Be Able", I like to think about the relatively low barrier to entry we have these days to build our businesses online. What I mean by this is that in the old days, if I wanted to hold a training course on a topic, I would have to rent a conference room or classroom, I would have to advertise in the newspaper, I would have to find all the students, get them all together, and handle every piece of the customer service and sales aspect, all before I even got the opportunity to teach something. But, with the new online world we have and with sites like Udemy, I am able to record myself teaching, post those videos, and reach students all over the world with my messages and training. The internet has really helped me to Be Able in reaching over 100,000 students through Udemy and beyond! Jason Dion

Thank you for your supporting answer. Actually, I set my course to free in order to get some reviews because nobody knows me in udemy and I got 32 students now. Should I contact them and ask them for reviews?

Its just a quick win worksheet for them to get started on course and get engaged, After which i offer them a coupon for next course. I dont know how I will be doing this. Seems there needs to be an integrated system in place. Dont know of any possible solution as of now.

Actually, I use Adobe Premiere Elements. It does everything I need. Lots of transitions, fads, unlimited levels, complete color and light control, etc. It costs about $80 U.S. with no monthly payments. I recommend it.

That's exactly where I am right now. Just launched a second course after 3 years Decided to spend time creating new courses, just to practice the whole process of creating, launching, updating, marketing... even in the less popular category-topic (jewelry). I'm realizing udemy is about long-term strategy, continuous action, quality and quantity. All at the same time.

Most systems have a character limit for usernames. However, I agree that it would have been nice to just have the Udemy name displayed. I think because some accounts are related to businesses, Udemy decided to go with a customizable username.

Lawrence, that was one tricky thing to do! The reason the camera is so tight on me on that 3rd angle is because of the limited size of the green screen. It does cover the entire wall (about 8 foot wide) but in a perfect world, it would need to wrap around the corner wall to get a slightly wider shot. My green screen is very long (you're supposed be be standing on it) so I could probably put it sideways to get that length but my little guess room is just too small for all that. Once my studio is built, I will wrap it around the edges of the wall. See the non-keyed image here: that very very thin white line on the left side is the edge of my screen.

Yes you can make a course in Arabic language. It is not compulsory to appear in the video but I suggest you should. This makes a connection with your audience. People like to interact with Humans, especially during learning a language. So I suggest you should appear (at least) in the initial videos of your course.

I am still using the most up to date version 7 (I have not updated yet) and I am always running into an error which requires me to close down the program to be able to save, a "runtime error". Other than that, it has not been too buggy. Version 8 is new, so perhaps that are working out some kinks. I would contact them, they are really good with responding. A good system restart always tends to help. I know having a few adobe products open can sometimes mess around with how screenflow works.

I have had some success with Instagram for this age group. Most of youngsters hang out there. If you are looking for professionals then tap LinkedIn. YouTube and Facebook for a generic audience.

I know how to produce entire course on my own. Unfortunately, because of health issue I can't sit comfortably on PC even for 15 minutes because of my back pain. So your solution is of no use it to me.
