Unless space is required in order to demonstrate something, there isn’t much need for a lot of room. I have a laptop, and regular video and am able to create some pretty good work. Check out some of my examples What is needed is a good screen recording software, a good microphone, and good material. If the intent is a “talking head” sort of lecture material, a ‘green screen’ background with good lighting is important! This allows clips and longer recordings to be professionally inserted into a presentation. If a green screen background is not possible, using applications like Zoom, allows for a video background to be inserted without the need for a green screen. Both methods offer good options, it simply depends on how best the course material can be produced.  Lastly, if background noise is a problem, I recommend using a lavaliere or lapel microphone to better control the sound issues. One can always run the audio through an audio program to filter out distracting noise from the final video clips. I wish we someone would have developed a crime analysis platform based on this relationship focused data technology when I was on the job. Nonetheless, it's good to know it's here now! With the possible exception of 100% Royalty free music, credit and recognition of authorship of the music or the website  providing it should always be properly recognized and attributed. To do so is considered plagiarism in academia and simply theft of intellectual property anywhere else.   Properly giving credit where it is due helps everyone and does not diminish your work product. If anything it enhances it by demonstrating your respect for the work of others...the same as you would want for yourself.  To do less is to invite potential litigation that could result in a 'cease and desist order' and running the risk of compromising your professional integrity. FreeCam (formerly iSpring Free Cam) [https://www.freescreenrecording.com/] is another free screen recorder that is simple to use.  A little known feature on the iPhone is the integrated screen recorder. For instructors show casing mobile applications, this is a pretty remarkable feature! Instead of having to use a screen mirror application connected to you laptop or PC AND a screen recorder, now you can go right from the source! Patrick, it's been my experience that only a few students continue to contact me after completing my courses - even though I encourage them to do so! Since starting with Udemy almost all of my students who choose to ask me questions do so while in the course, or in a brief comment afterwards.  I sometimes go back and add bonus material or update a portion of my courses and re-send the notification announcements as well as new course promotions to all 1.5k+ students. I expect a flood of responses, but generally receive one or two.  It's interesting because I've had some of the same students in three of four of my courses, but other than the course rating / review, they don't contact me.  Bottom line, you can develop a course that creates community, which could increase communication after the students complete the training...or not.
