For example, if someone feels that they've cracked the social media code, I'd love to hear the thought process, what they tried and how it worked out. Not just, "I used to use Facebook, but now I use YouTube", but specifically what they are posting and the thought processes behind it, along with both the positive and negative results of various approaches. I'm not sure how I feel about this. I understand that this community is about helping other instructors, but I think it's reasonable to have limits on what you share. This might be an unpopular opinion, but if I'm earning $100k/mo in a crowded field because I've "cracked Facebook ads" or "cracked YouTube ads", I'm not sure what benefit I get from sharing exactly what I did - especially if that breakthrough cost me $20k in ad spend to learn. Sure, I may feel good about helping others - but I'm also helping the 5 competitors of mine that frequent the forum.
