Should I record in 720p if I have a 1600:900 screen ?

So my screen is 1600:900. Should I upload videos about software coding in my native resolution 1600:900 or record a part of my screen 1280:720 where I'm writing the code and upload it in 720p ? What about people that have 1080p monitors, should they upload in 1080p or screen record a portion of their screen in 720p and upload in 720p?

Hi @john3, it's totally OK to record your videos in 720. As the entire screen has an aspect ratio of 16:9 which meets our standards:
