Today is World Teachers’ Day (also known as International Teachers’ Day). Established in 1994, it recognizes the 1966 signing of the UNESCO/ILO Recommendation that outlines education standards.
This day is all about recognizing the important role the teaching profession has on society. It’s a time to reflect on your achievements and milestones, no matter how small or large they may be.
2020 is a special (and challenging) year in education, marked by this year’s World Teachers’ Day theme "Leading in crisis, reimagining the future". At Udemy, we think instructors like you are doing just that. This is the year you joined the front lines of education and remote learning became essential. Be proud of your guidance and expertise that you share with the world. It makes a difference!
Saying that is one thing, but we know it means far more coming from actual students. That’s why we asked them to share the impact you’ve had on their lives.
We’re in awe of the courage and hard work it takes to design courses, publish courses, and engage with your students. Without you, there truly is no Udemy.
