Hello and good day. Please I am preparing a course in chemistry. Can you kindly advise me on naming chemical compounds in my course. Am I to use the older name or the IUPAC nomenclature in naming my compounds? For example sulphuric acid or tetraoxosulphate (vi) acid?
Thanks.

Francis,
Unless there's another chemist amongst us, I very much doubt you'll receive an educated response to your question ;-). Off the top of my head, is there any reason to not use both naming conventions? ---Brian
