Udemy newbie in need of some advice, course not selling

Hey everyone,

I just wondered if I could get just a little bit of guidance. I launched my first course on Udemy and I'm feeling a little deflated as not one person has bought it. I'm not sure what it is about the course that's causing it to not sell. I did have it £199 but it got reduced as I opted into the Udemy marketing etc.

Any tips would be really appreciated!

Hey Jade!

Don't feel defeated! You have great credentials and although I'm not in that field, your course looks interesting to me.

But here's the thing: Would YOU buy a course that has ZERO students? "But how can I get students if I have to already have them to GET them???" Well that's the trick: Your first students should really come from your own network, friends and family, and some targeted free coupons. Once you get those early students (ideally with good ratings and reviews) others will follow and the mystical magical Udemy algorithm will begin to understand your content and how to best market it.

But my BEST advice: PLEASE take the FREE Udemy course creation course, and/or some of the excellent unofficial Udemy course creation courses. They are WELL worth the time and then It will all make sense.
