As you pointed out the increasing cost of customer acquisition led to this radical change in strategy. However, is there any room for innovation to reduce the customer acquisition cost? I came to this platform because Udemy was awesome at marketing my courses in the marketplace (a skill that I lacked) which completely justified the revenue cut that Udemy took. However, I am not too keen to continue making courses to support the current strategy because I have seen this strategy fail before (skillshare).
