Re: Addressing Instructor Community Concerns with Personal Plan
Longer term, if Instructors get more revenue, we may be re-motivated to create more and more awesome Courses, better ratings, more enrollments and subscriptions (both UB and PP), more repeat customers … and stock prices may go up again ?!
Re: Addressing Instructor Community Concerns with Personal Plan
Lindsay, Your point "We have also built our courses based on the marketplace one-time sales." is super important. The majority of my courses are long, comprehensive courses that I regularly update and expand. I do this to 1) keep my ratings up, and 2) provide the maximum perceived value. These factors work great in the marketplace model. But the completion rate in UB is low. Only recently have I begun to shift my thinking toward making fast and short classes, and truthfully, I'm still not sure how to craft a class specifically for UB.
