Zane - I've been an instructor on Udemy for a long time and have seen lots of changes over the years - some good, some otherwise. I'm approaching one million people in my classes, but I am really struggling—as are many of my colleagues here—to see the value proposition for creating new classes on the platform. My revenue has dropped nearly 50 percent year over year, and the prospects to publish my courses elsewhere are tempting.
I'd encourage you to take a hard look at what's happened to the instructor relationship and the erosion of trust over the past two years. Please give us a roadmap and sell us on why we should continue publishing with Udemy. In my space, there are forthcoming opportunities that, as of today, I am leaning towards putting these courses on other sites. I've heard the same from other instructors with audiences like mine.
