Re: Udemy and the Learning Revolution: How Instructors Shape Education’s AI Future
I, for one, want to say thank you and kudos to Udemy for listening to instructors, especially on the PP free trial and subscription bonus.
Times are tough for online education, and this feels like Udemy is recognizing the importance of instructors. It's a hopeful move, and a welcome one.

Yeah….finally something to boost our motivation….to close the year in the right way!
Re: MEGATHREAD: Black Friday Sales are Here!
October was a better month for me. This year, Black Friday sales were similar to any other day :-(
Times have irrevocably changed. We must adapt and seek alternatives.
Re: MEGATHREAD: Black Friday Sales are Here!
I made half the money this BF, with 6 courses, than what I made last year's BF with 2 courses. I think this says it all.
Re: Udemy and the Learning Revolution: How Instructors Shape Education’s AI Future
I don’t think anyone in this forum would ever accuse me of being an optimist regarding Udemy - and I’d respond with “give me something to be optimistic about”.
But… I’m also willing to offer kudos when they are deserved. What I saw in the Front Row today does “seem” like a great move in the right direction - although I do worry about consumption minutes actually being negatively affected.
Today is the first day in quite a while where I feel like Udemy is actually trying to offer something not designed simply to placate us (ie. the insane 1:1 coaching offering that is never gonna work).
Despite removing several courses from the platform, including UfB, over the last month or so, I HAVE left the door ajar because despite my pessimism, I do hold out some hope that Udemy rights the ship.
What I saw today seems like a move in the right direction. Time will tell.
