Hi all I'm a corporate trainer from Mumbai and new to Udemy...could someone let me know as to what softwares would be the best to upload training material.
Hi @Charukhanna1025
If you are a Mac user, then you already have
1. Quicktime (for screen recording)
2. iMovie (for video editing)
But, I saw that the laptop was getting heated up quite fast while recording over 20 minutes using QuickTime. So, I switched to Camtasia, which has both recording and editing features, along with a load of other features.
I haven't recorded myself in any videos, so I didn't use any DSLR cameras, although I have plans to use them for intro videos in the future.
Vinod.
Hi vinod
We have to pay for camtasia?
Yes. But there are other free software available.
Plese follow this thread for details: https://community.udemy.com/t5/Course-Creation/Screen-capture-software/td-p/671
Hi Vinod

Which are the other softwares which are free?

Please search for OBS Studio in Google. This one is free, open source. Looks like feature rich. I haven't used it though.
The actual website is obsproject[dot]com
