Hi everyone,

If you have content in the Udemy Business collection, we've got good news for you! Today, we launched new views for the Performance Dashboard to let you check out data specifically about your Udemy Business performance. From ratings to learner interests to course engagement and more, you can now track how your content is performing in Udemy Business and plan your next move with confidence.

This update also includes a few items that should help all instructors, regardless of Udemy Business participation -- for example, we've provided more data on the devices learners are using to take your courses, and we've improved load times for those of you with a lot of data to display.

We want to give a special thank you to the instructors who volunteered their time in our closed beta -- @Gustavo
, @MichaelPog
, @SamuelLenk
, @Andrew_Pach
, @Rahul Iyer
, and many others. Your feedback over the last several months was invaluable as we developed these new features.

Check out the full update in the Teaching Center or jump straight into the new tools in your Performance dashboard. And don't forget to let us know what you think!

Teach on,

Bella & the Udemy Instructor Team

    Thanks!

  • This is great, it actually gives a good way to predict our current months UfB earnings to a pretty close number. Thanks!

    Good stuff - thanks!

  • Hi. How are the instructor ratings of UFB so different to the normal instructor ratings?

Hi @MinervaSingh66, just like course ratings in general, Udemy Business ratings will vary by course and instructor. Some instructors see bigger deltas in ratings provided by Udemy Business learners, others see smaller ones, or no delta at all. To better understand what’s going on with your courses in particular, here are a few ways to investigate:

    • Look at your Udemy Business ratings course by course to see if the delta is universal across your content, or being driven by a few specific courses that aren’t landing well with this audience
    • Use the new filters in your Reviews page to read any comments left by Udemy Business learners and see if they give ideas for improvement
    • Use the new views in your Course Engagement page to spot if there are particular courses or lectures that are getting a different response among Udemy Business learners than they are from individual learners

    I hope this helps!
