I record a video, but how to add video text? Should I use SRT?

    You mean captions/subtitles right?

    Go to the Captions section, there you can see auto-generated subtitles for your course lectures (Note that if your course has 20+ enrollments then only Udemy auto-generates the subtitles).

    Next, for each lecture, you can edit, upload or download or delete the caption VTT (file extension) file.

    I saw that there are courses that have 7 or more captions in different languages. Do we have to always upload the VTT file? How do we create such a file easily? Because having to translate a course of 4,5 hours is a lot of work.
