Setting Automatic Limited-Period Access

Hello.

This question is addressed to The Head of Dumb Questions from New Users Dept.

When a paid course is offered, is it possible to set a fixed period for usage/access? For example, a course is available to the learner/client for 8-days from initiation of the course. My concern is two-fold; firstly I do not wish the material to be endlessly available, but secondly, I do not want the access period to begin on purchase, only on first engagement.

I hope my question is clear, but if not, perhaps the Assistant Head of Untangling Inarticulate Blather might assist.
