Urgent: Course Banned Without Warning & Verification Issues

Hello Udemy Community,

I am Hassan Ali, the co-instructor of the course "Zero to Hero Crypto Trading 2024: The Complete Guide". My co-instructor and I are facing some serious issues, and I would appreciate guidance from the community or Udemy moderators.

Issues We Are Facing:

  1. Course Banned Without Prior Warning:
    • On January 23rd, at around 2 AM, our course was suddenly banned without any prior notice or email explaining the reason for the ban.
    • We have not received any warnings or notifications related to violations of policies or guidelines before this happened.
  2. Primary Instructor's Account Temporarily Suspended:
    • The primary instructor of the course has been unable to log into their Udemy account since January 23rd.
    • Upon attempting to log in from another device, we discovered that the primary instructor’s account has been temporarily suspended.
  3. Verification Process Issue:
    • After contacting Udemy Support regarding the course ban, I noticed that my dashboard began displaying a personal verification process requirement.
    • I attempted to complete the verification process using my Pakistani National ID Card and Passport approximately six times between January 23rd and January 28th. However, I have yet to receive any confirmation email or follow-up regarding the verification status.
  4. Support Contact with No Follow-Up:
    • We have emailed both policy@udemy.com and Instructor Support, explaining the situation in detail, but we have not received any responses or updates on the issue as of now.

Clarifications:

  • Our course has been performing well, and we’ve been following Udemy’s guidelines to the best of our knowledge.
  • We are committed to resolving this issue and are willing to comply with any additional requirements from Udemy to get our course reinstated and our instructor account reactivated.

Questions for the Community/Moderators:

  1. Has anyone else faced a similar issue of sudden course banning or account suspension without warning?
  2. How long does the verification process typically take? Is there a specific team I should contact regarding verification delays?
  3. What should be our next steps to ensure we can get a response from Udemy Support and resolve this matter quickly?

I would deeply appreciate any advice or suggestions from fellow instructors or Udemy moderators.

    Eu passei por isso com o meu curso, mas enviei vários e-mails explicando o que aconteceu, que não foi notificado e não tive com resolver o problema, porque quando chegou o e-mail pra mim eles já tinham banido o meu curso, aí eles me responderam dizendo que iria liberar o meu acesso ao curso para mim fazer os ajustes necessários e assim eu fiz e normalizou.

    It would be beneficial to have the course owner reach out to them directly, providing the current case number and all relevant details. They can provide assistance and information specific to the course status, as only the course owner can receive those details.
