Is ID Verification Required Again After Republishing a Course?

The first time I published my course, it successfully passed verification. Later, I decided to make some changes, including replacing the voiceover in all the videos. I switched to a high-quality, paid voice from ElevenLabs with a commercial license. All the videos were re-uploaded, and as soon as I clicked "Republish Course," I was prompted to complete ID verification again (which I successfully passed). Is this expected behavior, or could it be a glitch?

    Is voice-over allowed? I thought Udemy has strict policy of only Instructor's voice.

    Hi @PuneetGupta453 We do not have a policy against the use of voice actors or other parties in order to teach or narrate your course. It is, however, very important instructors are in compliance with all applicable laws and the intellectual property of others; however, you can send an email to the Trust & Safety team so they can provide you further information about using voice-over.
