Does Udemy allow instructors to publish multiple versions of an existing course in other languages?

I began teaching on Udemy in 2014, and since then, I’ve had the privilege of attracting over 1 million students and generating over $4 million in revenue. With years of experience in the subjects I teach, I’ve also established a training company beyond Udemy.

On our own learning platform, we’ve leveraged premium AI-powered video editing and translation software to translate and lip-sync our courses into multiple languages, such as Chinese, Hindi, Spanish, and Portuguese. This ensures the original video quality remains intact while making the content accessible to a wider audience. We are already selling many of these.

I’m curious to know: Does Udemy allow instructors to publish multiple versions of an existing course in different languages? If possible, I’d prefer insights from experienced instructors or Udemy staff familiar with Udemy’s current policies. Thank you! 👍

    Yes, I would think so. However the AI quality has to be very good. I also want to translate but I will be speaking in various languages. I simply do not trust AI.
