Big Course - Pre-Announcement

i have a big course coming out that I’m very excited about. Are there any issues with announcing it in promotional emails before it launches?

Hey Ron,

It's definitely not a problem to announce it early, but just a heads-up - Udemy allows only 2 promotional emails per course per month.

So if you send one before the course launches, and then plan to send another one to promote the live course, you'll have used both slots. If your main goal is to drive enrollments once it's live, it might be more effective to wait and combine the announcement with the actual launch, so you're using one powerful email at the right moment.
