Regarding duplicate content policy...
Hello everyone 👋
I am new here and already building my first course, regarding a design software, which will be a Complete Course For All Levels. As there is too much information, I thought to split it into parts: Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced. I made a research throughout the community and found a few relevant topics to read. And my questions are the following:
- Is there a way to make a duplicate of a course or do I need to contact Support to do it for me?
- Is it true that longer courses often sell better than shorter ones?
My most important question is regarding the content: In case I provide three separate courses for each level, as mentioned before…
- Will I be allowed to keep the complete-all-levels course as well, as a full package purchase, since the content will be the same as the smaller ones?
- If not, is there maybe an option to offer multiple courses, as one purchase, for a better price?
Any thoughts or advice will be appreciated 🙏✨

- As of now, NO, there isn't any option to do that. My question is, why would you want to copy the course if the content is different?
- Is it true that longer courses often sell better than shorter ones?
- From my experience YES and also from the experience of many of my friends. For Udemy, the more/longer the better (make sure to maintain the quality of the content, again depends on the demand of the niche)

- You can try but I would suggest not to becuase if someone purchases one of your smaller courses and then realizes that there is another course which has more content then that person would ask for the refund. After some of time, the more the refunds, the lesser SEO works for that course. Instead, you can create one course with different sections. The downside of this is that the amount of revenue will be lesser compared to if you had sold all 3 of them separately.
On the other hand if the longer content course performs well, you might earn more revenue from that. You will have to give that a thought. Separating them works better on other platforms where you are paid my the minutes watched.

- I didn't find that option. If there was such an option, I would have used it already but coupon system works individually and not as a bundle.
You can consider creating 2 different courses but all 3 of them will have their own prices.

Hi Elina! As far as I know, you should contact support to make a duplicate for the course, there is no such a button.
And I beleive, that longer courses sell better. It's also something I read for experienced tutors here.
