Hey instructors,

Udemy is officially on TikTok (@UDEMY ) and we’d love for you to join the action!

We’re kicking things off with a community-driven initiative to showcase what makes Udemy truly unique—our incredible instructors.

We’re inviting you to submit ideas for engaging, viral-style TikTok Carousels (swipeable image-and-text slides) for us to feature that highlight:

  • Your subject-matter expertise
  • Your unique teaching + learning journey
  • Your personal connection to learning

Submit your ideas today by filling out this form:
https://forms.gle/z6MJYd68MjcpLAKH7

What’s In It for You?

  • Be featured on Udemy’s TikTok!
  • Gain exposure with your name, photo, and TikTok handle (if applicable).
  • Drive awareness of (and potentially traffic to) your Udemy course or instructor profile (linked in your featured content).

This is just the beginning of our Instructor Voices program, with even more opportunities to come. Let’s show the world what Udemy, and instructors like you, are all about!

Sounds interesting. I haven't tried tiktok yet. Could be interesting.

  • Does Udemy do same things for other social media like facebook and watsapp?

Is tiktok "next big thing" that will drive educational traffic to site like Udemy?

Hi @RyanJaress - can you clarify what exactly you would like us to submit?

    • Only an idea (concept) in a nutshell - and you'll take it from there and develop further.
    • Entire script with all details - so you can visualize it based on Udemy standards.
    • Ready-made Carousel (in PNG) - basically, we'll prepare the entire file so you can just check it and publish if selected.

If it's about a ready-made Carousel, I haven't seen the option on how to do that (there's no upload button). If an idea or script is sufficient, do we just need to copy and paste it below your examples, or within "Open Season"? Or, somewhere else? What's the space limit (# of characters)?

Any other guidelines or limitations (e.g., not to be a clear course promo)?

    Thanks,

    Boris

P.S. It's clear how to link the instructor's page and the course name - please, just clarify the uploading details.

    Hi everyone,

Again, thank you so much for your interest, and I’m coming with updates from the team:

This initiative is focused on TikTok, but it might later be adapted for other platforms like Meta and LinkedIn.

Regarding filling out the collaboration form: For now, you only need to submit the form with your written response to the prompt. You can post it directly as a comment in the 'Open Season' thread (no need to submit a script or PNG). Please keep your response under 500 characters and avoid including direct course promotions.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions!
