Getting started - struggling

Hi there

I'm an experienced mental health first aid instructor and work around conflict coaching.

I designed an e-learning product via a SCORM package and it has been received well by the organisation. That got me thinking about getting started myself. Udemy seems like the best platform to do that. But it's feeling really overwhelming, there is so much guidance but also rules and instructions to follow.

I felt that turning my currently SCORM product into udemy would be the wisest, as I have the content, but it's not even as easy as that.

The other thing is, whilst wanting to do some products that I can just market for anyone - my latest client wants a package of e-learning, which would be some core content and then 'add-ons' which are non-mandatory. Is that something I can do here and it be private/not listed?

Hi @JakeMorrison, Thanks for your question! We are happy to see that you are interested in becoming an instructor at Udemy. Unfortunately, Udemy does not support any Articulate Storyline or SCORM files. Since we function primarily as an on-demand, video-based platform, you’ll need to upload your video files directly to Udemy. In other words, students must be able to view your course lectures on the Udemy platform.
