PC Software and Hardware for recording and editing - mac OS vs Windows

Hello all ,
I am building a new PC for my workflow .

I have been a windows person but I am seriously considering shifting my workflow to macOS because of the seamless integrations between devices.

Would really like to know the varied views of the instructor community .

I do 3D modelling - Blender, CAD, Engineering simulations along with 4K Video editing mainly in Camtasia and Davinci resolve.

I was looking to build a new PC based latest CPUs and GPUs but after looking at the M4 lineup from Apple I am having second thoughts .

I looked at the Mac mini M4 and the macbook M4 both provide great value for the money spent while building a new PC has its advantages of upgradability.

Would love to know your views. Which system do you use? if you can share the specifications . ANy advice in terms of hardware?

I use a mac. For editing I use ScreenFlow but they are getting expensive with every update. I heard OBS is free and very good. One thing that really helps is having two monitors. For you needs I think a Mac mini M4 is an excellent choice. Your topics sound very cool. Good luck!
