Anyone experienced much success with the pilot of "one on one coaching" option? We set the price to 250 usd per hour and no booking so far. I was wondering if others are having traffic and what kind of hourly prices you apply. Thanks a million.
Is this available for all instructors?
Where to find this option?
This functionality is only availble for a small set of instructors right now.
Sounds like 250 is alot, but maybe your subject warrants. I hope it works for you since it will give me hope.
I would like it enabled on my account asap.
I do not have access to coaching 1-1. I think your price is reasonable.
I have not had a single booking. I've only posted on social media about it once, though.
No bookings yet. There are many different types of coaching and different instructors are capable of different types of coaching. I set a much higher price because I only want management/executive coaching opportunities, or team coaching. Anything less than 1,000 per hour would be viewed as lacking credibility. The coaching I want to do will not be paid by individuals, but by corporate clients. The differentiation needs to be made more clear to potential clients. There is nothing wrong with coaching an individual engineer to overcome one specific problem. But, that is something entirely different.
1000 is pretty steep, but for sure something that an executive would/should be willing to spend and it does signal credibility. Let's see how it develops.
No bookings yet on my side either, but I know it is a new product. We will see how it goes! Jason Dion
I don't think anyone has had any bookings. Udemy needs to open it to UB customers.
Aha, so it's just for the B2C, well that might contribute to the fact that we have had no success.
I set it up, but no bookings yet. To be honest, I'm not sure if any photography students on Udemy (which is the coaching I'm offering) would pay the $300/hour. But I'm curious to see if Udemy can figure out the pricing/marketing of this.
How much are we keeping BTW and what is Udemy's cut? Does anyone know?
80% revenue share for instructors.
Who would have guessed that people who won’t spend $20 for a 40-hour course won’t spend $250 on one-on-one coaching?
Clearly wasn’t thought out. Might work if the prices are drastically reduced.
