Hi guys,
I know that some of you will flag this post; yet, I believe it's essential for us (meaning Udemy) to understand what our top competitor (meaning Coursera) is doing - and, it seems Coursera is closing the gap.
In Q3 2025, Coursera recorded sales of USD 194 million, and plans to finish the year with sales over USD 750 million. Udemy is at approx. USD 200mn per quarter, targeting USD 800mn for this year.
Yet, there's more than just numbers. They have some interesting AI features, and the narrative is similar to the one we can hear from Udemy representatives (importance of AI, reducing Rev.Share, geography expansion, etc.).
Check it out…and hopefully, we'll be able to hear some good news from Hugo next week (at Earnings Call). After all, if Coursera is able to find ways to increase its revenues, I believe Udemy can do the same.
Regards,
Boris
