On Liability Waivers

HI,

I am almost ready to publish my first Udemy course. It is a Bellydance course. Typically for my classes, students are required to sign a liability waiver when they register. I have a standard Liabilty waiver I use. How would I include that as part of my course? Also, how would I make sure they agree to the waiver before having access to other course content? Thanks!

I don't think you can do that on Udemy. If you need this waiver because you feel that there is a significant danger of liability, then it must also be true that Udemy as a company would share in that liability. Why would they do that? They should not publish a course that creates such a liability.

Thanks! I'll consult with my insurance as well. Typically, they require a waiver when I do private lessons or teach studio group classes. But I'm not sure if an online course would fall under that category or not.
