Tax form still showing “Resubmit required” after submission – earnings on hold

Hi everyone,

I’m a new Udemy instructor.

I submitted my tax form (India) about 9–10 days ago and also received the confirmation email.
However, my dashboard is still showing “You need to resubmit your tax form”.

My payout method (Tipalti – Local Bank Transfer) is active.
I’ve already created two support tickets (one yesterday and one today), but I haven’t received a clear response yet.

Because of this, my earnings are on hold and I’m not sure whether I should wait or resubmit the tax form again.

Has anyone faced a similar issue?
How long did it take for the tax form to get approved, and what finally helped resolve it?

Any guidance from instructors or moderators would be really appreciated.

I just resubmitted once and I got the confirmation within a day and I even got my payout. My payout is through PayPal.

If it shows resubmit, please resubmit again. Click on resubmit and continue with the same details and submit. If anything has changed, then change it.

I created support ticket so should i wait for their response or go ahead and do resubmit? or Is there any issue might be with Tipalti?

Hi @AnandJha, If you have reached out to the Support team, I recommend that you wait for the team's instructions so you can proceed with your tax form. I'm pretty sure the team will get back to you as soon as possible.

Hi @ElianaC I got reply from Team and now when i resubmitted i can see now that "We have received your tax form". from here how many days it usually take to approve and how will i get notified?

Hi @AnandJha, It usually this process is completed within 2–3 business days, and in some cases, your Withholding Tax Status may update immediately you can try by checking "view details". If you don’t see a change after 3 business days, please contact Udemy Support
