Course Promotion Video

Hello Everyone,

Excited to be a part of this new community. I am a new instructor. I have many course ideas, however I do not have any video/media experience. I have never recorded any videos of myself. Can someone point me in the direction of who can help me orchestrate my Introduction video? Thank You.

Hi Shantel. Recording can be daunting at first trial but it's fun in the long run. You can screen record and edit your tutorial with Clip champ. It's an amazing free recording online software. You may not require a microphone, but if you use one it's even better.

I don't think you should worry much about your introduction video. Outline and create your course content first. Your introduction video should be recorded last, it's more like a summary description of what your entire course is about

To me, more important than the video is the sound. Many will tell you that. Your voice is authentic - only you - no AI voicing unless it is for the role plays (which are a great way to reduce your face time if you are shy! Lots of video can be AI and stock, but people are listening to know it is you teaching them. A decent mic is not expensive, and today I find many cheap wireless lapel mics are good enough.
