What do you recommend for an instructor just starting out?

Hi, I'm just today starting to explore course creation in Udemy. Jan (my wife) and I have two courses - one on effortless sleep, another on effortless mindfulness - on Mighty Networks. (the courses are described at **edited**) A friend suggested we migrate the courses to Udemy.

The basic uploading process looks simple, but there seem to be many issues associated with creating a successful course

Jan and I would love to hear from you what you found most helpful in starting to learn about Udemy.

1. Our minimum requirement to have a course on Udemy is to have at least 30 minutes of video lectures. This section includes extensive resources on how you can create a Udemy course and get started.
2. You can use the Marketplace Insights tool can help you identify opportunities and get insight into what learners are searching for. This tool uses a few different factors to gauge the opportunity on each topic, it considers how many students are searching for courses on the topic, the number and the quality of available courses, and the conversion rate for the topic, so it can help you understand how your course’s trends fit into the bigger picture.
