Hi everyone. Based on all I've seen and heard, it looks like I'm doing things backward. It's in my nature to always be different!
I was an adjunct at a public research university for 10 years as a side hustle. My full time job was in the administration. Over the course of a decade, I wrote the syllabus for 4 different courses and taught them as well. The courses were very successful and I have student testimonials that let me know I'm on the right track.
When I retired, I wrote a book about some of that work, and launched a business for coaching students. Now I want to add online courses to my portfolio of offerings.
I have a ton of content. I am stumbling on the recording and production end of things, which is ironic because I've been a photographer all my life and actually ran a creative services and marketing department :-) Maybe my goals are too lofty for the quality? I don't have a ton of money to throw at this to launch.
What equipment did you use to get started?
Many thanks for any insights! I am determined to get a few courses done this year!
