Is there a way to bulk upload Quiz questions (not Practice Tests)?

Hi everyone,

I'm currently building my course and I've noticed a major difference in how questions are handled.

While Udemy allows for bulk uploading questions in the Practice Test section, I can't seem to find a similar feature for the standard Quizzes within the curriculum. Right now, it seems I have to enter each quiz question and its answers manually one by one.

Since I have a large set of questions ready in an Excel file, doing this manually will be very time-consuming.

1. Is there any "hidden" way or a specific CSV tool to bulk import questions into a Quiz?
2. Has anyone found a workaround (like a browser extension or a script) to speed up this process?

I'd love to hear how you handle large quizzes efficiently. Thanks for your help!

Hi @Japanswind Thanks for reaching out! I completely understand how time-consuming it can be to add a large number of questions manually.

At the moment, bulk uploading questions via CSV is only supported for Practice Tests. For Quizzes within the course curriculum, there isn’t currently a CSV template or bulk import option available. This means quiz questions and their answers do need to be added manually, one by one, in the course editor.

I understand that being able to add quiz questions and answers in bulk would be more efficient and save you time. Therefore, I will forward your feedback to our internal team for consideration.
