Hello everyone,
We recently submitted our first course, which was rejected due to non-compliance with the AI Use Policy. This was somewhat unexpected, as we reviewed the policy carefully prior to submission.
The feedback indicated that the course lacked sufficient “instructor oversight.” However, this concept is not clearly defined. According to the policy, the concern appears to be with fully AI-generated content that lacks meaningful instructor involvement or presence.
In our case, we developed the script ourselves, made extensive edits, and used an AI avatar solely as the delivery mechanism. Given this, we are trying to better understand what specifically is missing.
Does “instructor oversight” imply that the instructor must appear on camera? How is “personal connection” being evaluated in practice?
If anyone has encountered a similar situation, I would greatly appreciate hearing how you addressed it and what adjustments were required to meet the policy standards.
Thank you in advance.
