Is there anyone else who has observed a strange silence on Udemy, no new enrollment, no Q&A, no new reviews. What's happening here. This is first time in last 5 years that despite active sales no new enrollment. Any insights?
Hi @MuhammadDuj869
I have had nearly a 50% drop compared to this past January and the past three months have seen a gradual decline. Last April (a year ago) I made about the same as this April however now I have twice as many courses. I could say the major decline started last February. However I have had students ask questions in the course Q&A, 250 new (paying) students joined this month and I received 47 reviews. So it's not perfect but it's not completely silent either.
Good luck and indeed I do hope things pick up!
My landing page visitors for my bread-and-butter courses has suddenly plummeted. I reported it to Support a few weeks ago. As always, progress is slow !
I think we are reaching a strange end. No clarity right now about the policy. This is pure corporate type of things which are happening right now
So what is actually going on does any one have a clue?
It feels like we're being cut loose and are supposed to find our own way to the door.
I agree
I agree, and this is not a smart move by Udemy. This forum is public. Everybody who reads these conversations will lose trust in Udemy, including investors and customers. I also think that if hackers had scanned this forum's threads over the past couple of months, they would have gotten a very clear idea that Udemy has severe security issues.
I have raised a ticket but no response.. This has happened once to me in past where folks have registered using my promotion but those were not reflected or paid to me. After a month i got those payments as an additional payment.
I can not understand that how current administration policy will help Udemy to grow. I do not think that experienced instructors are updating their courses or publishing new one. It can be major blow to Udemy
