Welcome to Udemy and the community.

Here are some thoughts:

Students seem to like talking-head videos, at least at first.
Provide an early win/takeaway.
Include section projects to help students work along with your course.
Respond to student questions and messages routinely.

I'm sure others will have their own favorites.
