I am making a course for game development and virtual reality.

As part of the course, I have created all the 3D models the student will need. how can I distribute these? it is essentially one file that gets imported into the application.

You can add resources in your courses. Here's our support article that guides you through it and the formats that are allowed: https://support.udemy.com/hc/en-us/articles/229604868-Adding-Resources-to-Lectures

This would be the way your students could access the 3D models you want to share with them.
