Getting insights from Udemy's analytics

in First-time course creation

Hi everybody... so I really love that Performance Tab... I could spend hours watching it...

But... what I really don't understand is how it's getting updated. Traffic data is not in line with what I know from my promotions (eg. Google Adwords, Mailing Software, Facebook). And Course Engagement seems low (omg...) and does not reflect what my students tell me (hm...).

Any insights from experienced Udemers would be greatly appreciated. :)
