Video making abilities

Hi everybody,

I would like to create an online course, but I don't know the equipment and the softwares that I need.

I would need technical help.

What is the easiest way to start? Are there any free software to download? Do I need a videocamera and a microphone?

Welcome to Udemy as an instructor! The easiest way to start is:

1. Use open source screen recording software 'OBS Studio'.

2. Use USB powered 'Blue Yeti' microphone for recording voice.

3. You need a video camera only while video recording yourself. If you only need to record your computer's screen, videocamera is not cumposary.
