HI Everyone,
I am new here and have a question about recording. Do I record the whole video and Udemy breaks it down into segments or do I record in short segments? Thanks!
Sibyl
Sibyl,
Recording, editing, and dividing the course into lectures and sections (that is the terminology) is entirely up to you. Udemy simply provides hosting and some marketing help. Good luck.
@sibylstar - echo Lawrence's comments above. You need to invest the time in structuring your curriculum. Udemy recommends thin slices in each lecture - as in a few minutes. I reckon it depends on your content. If you have techincal concepts, sometimes a few minutes isn't practical. So really comes down to your best judgement. Don't be afraid to go with what works best for your topic. But I do recommend have a sense of structure before you start recording. Otherwise it's a mountain of work afterwards trying to change things.
@Hi @sibylstar and @LawrenceMMiller Happy Sunday! 😊
