Video Content in Courses
Hello everyone !!
Can anyone please explain exactly how I can count my external video content minutes on my total 30minutes minimum video content for my Udemy Course??
I have made a video for every lecture, as instructed. These videos liv at the invideo AI website and can be watched by clicking on the link provided. However, these links are not actual videos I have uploaded to my Udemy page.
When I try to submit my course for review it tells me I have not uploaded the minimum 30mins of video content.

Hi @1_Tabitha_Wordsworth thank you for asking! 😊
Since you are providing this link as an external resource, this does not count as video content. The video content in each lecture is considered the core material of the course.
You can check the minimum standards a course must have in this article.

Oh No.. so that means we need to upload every single video, rather than only giving the link to the invideo ai page??
Oh dear oh dear..

Yes, as the minimum requirements states, the course must have at least 30 minutes of video content, and
at least 5 separate lectures.
If you are having issues with the Udemy page, you migth want to take a look at this article about troubleshooting video processing.
If you are having a different issues, please provide us with more details to better help you.

You need to upload actual files and not use links. For example if you post a link to youtube or some other platform to an 8 hour video then that does not count as 8 hours of content.
