What do i have to consider using logos/trademarks/brand names etc. in the course?

Hello,
i started planning my first course but did not find a satisfying answer to my question. But I also do not want to start with a very capital fail.
When creating a course that is for example about learning a specific software, am I actually allowed to use the brandnames, logos, trademarks etc. from the software the course is about?
Some thoughts about it from my side so far:
It might be absolutely hard, impossible or makes the course pointless to not name/show brand names/logos etc. when the whole course is about this.
For example if its a photoshop editing course.
I know there are "trademark guidelines" for the most of the software out there which are telling you, how to use their logos and how to phrase them and how not to phrase them or put an ® on the name etc. but should they really be taken meticulously as they are stated, even for a "little tutor" making a training video?
I am unsure since also on almost every video/tutorial on youtube, everyone seems to use logos, brands etc. and I doubt they are all approved by the brand owners. So is this some kind of "tolerated" at least you are not claim to own the brand or disfigure names etc. (the obvious dont's)?
Would be very interesting how do you handle this topic? Do i have to obtain permissions explicitly?
What do i have to consider else?
Best regards

Hi @Flask0 Thank you for your question! It is important to us that instructors posting courses on Udemy respect applicable laws and the intellectual property of others.
