How to approach teaching mobile script engines safely in a course?

I’m planning to design a new course focused on mobile scripting and client-side logic for advanced learners. One of the tools I’ve seen referenced a lot is arceusX for advanced lua automation—often used in modding or custom behavior scripting.
The challenge is how to responsibly teach this kind of content. While scripting can be educational, it’s often associated with exploits, and I want to make sure the course stays aligned with ethical development and platform rules.
Has anyone here included similar tools in their curriculum, or had experience with platform moderation when covering topics that border on reverse engineering or automation?
Would love your insight.

i would say you would need to ask a moderator for permission first due to arcuerus X and lua being huge in the exploit community.
modding and arcureus x can be educational but is used for hacks mostly
