Hi fellow instructors,
I'm reaching out because I'm facing a frustrating issue and I'm hoping someone here has advice or experience with it.
I created a course on beer brewing “Beer Brewing: From Science to Craft”, that includes detailed technical and scientific content, aimed at enthusiasts who want to understand fermentation, beer chemistry, and production in depth.
The course was originally narrated with an AI voice, but after receiving Udemy's standard feedback about "robotic, text-to-speech audio", I completely re-recorded the entire narration using my own human voice.
Despite this, every time I submit the updated version, I still get exactly the same message!! no indication that the new audio has actually been reviewed. It feels like the system is just repeating an automatic response, even though the voice is now 100% human (mine), with proper pronunciation, pacing, tone, and no robotic traits. This is not AI. It’s my own voice, recorded clearly and naturally.
I've tried explaining this via the support form, but again, I just get the same default reply about text-to-speech.
So my question is…Has anyone else experienced this?
Is there any way to escalate the review to an actual person who will listen to the updated audio?
Any advice, contacts, or suggestions would be massively appreciated. I put a lot of time and passion into this course, and I’d love to get past this strange bottleneck.
Thanks in advance for reading and helping!
