Unable to add invisible instructor with payout details

Hello everyone,

I am a online teacher in Udemy with 13 courses in electrical engineering. I decided to teach blockchain technology just to diversify, and for that I created a separate account. I added my existing electrical engineering account as an invisible instructor. But the revenue share % does not show up. I have accepted the invitation from my older account as well. Moreover, I cannot set the price of the course unless I enter the payout details for this new instructor.

This is a screenshot of how the instructors have been added. I still use my own name. The second one is the older established account. But there was no percentage share that ever came when I added an instructor and I don't see any choice now as well.

Do all instructors have to enter their payout details?

Hi @ShivkumarIyer, Thanks for your question, and I’m sorry for the confusion this has caused.

Regarding the co-instructor setup, to view all available options (including revenue share), please click on the small grey arrow in the co-instructor section and scroll to the right. This will allow you to access additional settings for each instructor, where you can configure the revenue share.

As for setting a price for your course, you’ll need to complete the premium instructor application and add your payout details. Once this step is completed and approved, you’ll be able to set a price for your course. If you’re still unable to see these options after trying the steps above, you will need to submit a report to the instructor support team.
